Fourth Year of Retirement Freedom

Well, we've passed the anniversary of another year of retirement freedom. Each year, we make a playlist of the songs that inspired us throughout the year. It's a selfish little thing, and we just like it. Hope you like it as well.

We continue to find joy and inspiration in music and this quote from a previous post, still hits home: "this whole thing started as a small idea, grew into a big idea, and then a leap of faith with only stubbornness as a parachute. Step by step we went down the path, knee deep in it from the start, taking each event as it was presented to us and doing what we could at the time."

That continued to be true in the last year, as the pandemic changed pretty much everything for everybody. We refused to just let it happen though, so we made big changes of our own. We jumped back and forth between raging against the situation and going with the flow. The flow usually wins, and that took us back to Florida in the midst of it all. We are as happy as clams right now as we renovate a house that will be our home base for later travel.
